The other day upon asking my sister what she thought I should blog about she said "Blog about losing weight." And so I did. Or well, I actually constructed it like an essay and I think it might have gotten wildly out of hand. Anyway, my five pages of essay didn't fit as well as I thought on this post and so I have now placed it on your left under "Talks and Essays." You don't have to read it (well...my sister does! Just kidding. I love you Sister!) but it is there if you'd like to. I enjoyed writing it and I'm anxious to put it to action. If you read it: Enjoy. If you don't: Your loss not mine.

Hey, I enjoyed your essay! This is a dear subject to me. May I add something to your list? You mentioned to stay away from sweets, but I have found it VERY important to eat sweets but in MODERATION. You DO need some sugar and fat, and when you don't get it, you will eventually lose control and eat WAY too much because your body is craving it so badly. Also, eat more often. Same idea. Don't wait until your body is starved of nutrients to eat. This keeps your metabolism going all day and also makes it easier to make the right food choices. I quickly lost my extra pounds by following those 2 rules. But...then I got pregnant. :) Oh, PS. I also had to accept that with my height and structure, I am NOT supposed to weigh 120 pounds. Everyone's "healthy weight" is NOT the same. I had realize I was never anywhere near "overweight". Once I stopped stressing about it, things improved.
PPS. Sorry this is so long:) I just have a lot to say on this subject. :)
Wow Julia that was amzaing. You know these are the very things that we are told everyday by our parents, leaders, scientists, and as you said even our prophets today. I think one of our main problems is that we dont actually commit to doing it. One thing that I think will help many people and even myself is to "Just Do It." If we do this we will definantely see changes for the good in our bodies and our minds. I love you Julia, keep writing. Your doing great!!
