Feminine Advice.

After waking up this morning (late, I might add) I looked at my face in the mirror and was horrified. I've been getting less and less sleep lately and it's starting to show. I managed to make-do with what I had. But that's not much.

Makeup wise, I only have foundation (which isn't even my shade; there are shades! Who knew?), mascara, eye shadow (which I haven't used in almost a year which was when I got it, because there's four shades and I can't, for the life of me, remember which order they go in.), and blush. Anyway, as I was caking on my makeup I noticed that one of my roommates had a whole bag of the stuff!

So, question. What do you fill a makeup bag with? I mean, I know that you fill it with makeup, of course, but what kind?

gee, I would love to help you out with this one, but I have even less make up then you do...which is none. :)

lol. For me it's: Foundation, blush, lipliner, lipstick, and eyeliner. Every few months I go all out and add eyelash curler, mascara, and eye shadow.

As to the person who has a full full makeup bag, you've got to remember that most girls have different colors of all of those things! Different lipsticks, different eye shadows...stuff like that. :)

Oh, that's right. I never really thought about the colors!

the most important tool in my bag is my eyelash curler! If you get one, make sure it's the kind with the extra pads in it, you don't want to be chopping your eyelashes off! My daily make up is concealer, whipped foundation, loose powder, curl eyelashes then mascara. Easy peasy 5 minute ordeal.
On days I feel like living it up, I add eyeliner or eyeshadow. But I will say my bag is FULL and most of it is 20 different types of shadow that I need to throw away b/c I never use them! Find some good basic stuff that works for you, most importantly find the right shade of foundation! Buy one item a month if you need to. It gets expensive to do it all at once. I maybe spend $5 a month (average) on make up. Good luck Julia! Have fun trying out make up! :)

Ya...I could use a lesson or two myself. I've only ever used concealer, but I've been broken out the entire time I've been at school and I'm starting to think that the concealer's maybe not enough...
