Day 8. This ALWAYS Makes Me Laugh

This picture was taken during the Fall. I was standing in the living room of the family that I was working for and I noticed that one child wasn't inside yet. So, I went to the window and this is what I found...

Day 7. Most Treasured Item

I picked this out a few years ago and I love it! It's the only jewelry I wear (aside from my earrings, that is). I have only ever met two people with the same ring, but then, I'm going to a church school, so yeah. It was bound to happen. But I have gotten TONS of compliments on it and I think it's perfect! I kept thinking about this one and I thought of my books, my music, my journals, things like that. But I think it would be very hard to part with this. I know it might sound a little strange, but it's ALWAYS with me and it really does help me when I need that little extra reminder. Plus it makes me think of my daddy, so, whenever I'm missing him, it's always there.

Day 6. Trading Places with Paris

If I could trade places with someone for a day, I'd pick my old roommate Paris. Obviously, she's a nurse (or studying to BE a nurse at any rate) and, although that may sound crazy, I would love to be in her shoes. (Well, actually I'd love to shadow her. I wouldn't actually WANT to shove needles into people or clean up loads of blood and tweeze out shards of glass when people come in for putting their arm through a window.. But it would be nice to get over my fear of blood and guts and help people. I mean, it's even hard to just LOOK at some of these pictuers without feeling all sorts of light-headedness. ...Bleh!





Paris lives on a HUGE farm up in Washington and she gets to do awesome chores plus she has an AMAZING family! I love being up there, so, one more reason to trade places with her! (..Or be up there with her.)
And this last picture is of her and I. Being silly. Obviously. I keep in touch with her through letters (which is SUPER fun!) and I can't wait to see her again!

Day 5. Favorite Memory

Okay... I have TONS of favorite memories. And most of them (if not all of them) I couldn't or didn't catch in a photo. So I've found a few photos that resemble the time or that were taken close to the time when my favorite memories occurred. So, I've picked a few memories to share (I mean after 21 years, I SHOULD have more than just ONE favorite memory right?).
Anyway, my first semester up here at school (way back when in 2009) I had the BEST set of roommates any freshman could have asked for! I loved them and we ALL got along SUPER well. There wasn't even an instant when we didn't get along. Seriously. Anyhow, basically every day for those four months together was amazing.

Below is all of us. This was taken from my webcam and so it's blurry. And I WISH it turned out better! ..Oh well.

And I have to mention what happened during the Fall. I worked with one of my best friends and her family. I absolutely LOVED that time! I cannot WAIT to see them again! (And she probably won't appreciate the picture that chose, but it was the only one I had that even remotely resembled what went on or how amazing it was. So, this is the family making taffy.)

Day 3. Favorite TV Show

I had several options for this one and none of them are very accurate considering I hardly watch any of them. Or at least, I don't keep up with them. But I figured that if ALL of them were on at the same time, which one would I watch? And so, I chose this one.

Day 1. Fifteen Facts About Me.

1. I LOVE learning and going to school. (Except for maybe this week. I don't like finals!)
2. I LOVE the music from Wicked. I've been driving my roommates bonkers because I ALWAYS listen to it!
3. Every Friday I spend an hour in the green house before my second class. It is SO relaxing.
4. I love listening to the electric guitar. (Especially live!)
5. I really miss being around kids!(!!!!!)
6. When I miss people, I dream about them.
7. My little sister and I are writing letters back and forth to each other and I LOVE it!
8. I am writing a rather large story. (And I'm excited to be able to work on it again!)
9. I just went on my first date in two years today.
10. Maybe it's because I have roommates again, but I've been picking up smells super fast, whereas at home, I didn't. Like. At all. (It usually wasn't until AFTER everyone in the car started saying "EWW!" that I would smell whatever it was... but anyways.)
11. I just wrote and published a book of poems for my family class.
12. I usually always have music playing, especially at work. But now that my favorite station is gone I have to settle for singing to myself for three hours every morning.. I really should just buy a CD player.
13. So.. don't judge me. But I now watch Grey's Anatomy.
14. I REALLY REALLY want to learn how to play piano.
15. I believe that Marsh-mellow Mateys helps you find a date! ;)
