I Like Today!

Today is a very good day! For several reasons.
Reason One: It's raining. I love the rain! And because of it I got out of work early. A plus I hadn't expected. Yippie!

Reason Two: One of my favorite songs played on the radio at work this morning. Isn't that funny how something as simple as a song can make a day go by so much better?

Reason Three: I went to the orthodontics today and it only took me five minutes to get there! That's amazing! I went because I have this rubber-band problem. I have to wear these really thick bands and three of them are suppose to fit on one tiny little wire. Yeah, not happening. When I went to my actual orthodontics a few weeks ago they fitted an extra metal wire on to assist with the bands -to make it easier to wear. Well, it fell off a couple days ago, so now I've had to endure those stupid long struggles with getting all three bands on the wire. I get so frustrated! I get the bands on and then as soon as I close my mouth -click! It falls! Argh! So today, I put my foot down. "Self," I said, "we're going to find an orthodontics and see if they can help us!" So I did. I went down the street and found one. I was worried that they wern't going to help, or that it was going to cost more than I had on me. But no. They were really good about it! They were like "Oh sure! We can fix that right away!" And when I asked about payment she said that it was on the house! How cool is that??? So yeah, I'm practically giddy about how easy it is to wear my bands now! It's wonderful!

Reason Four: I'm at the library. I love being at the library! It's so peaceful and it has that sweet aroma of books. Mmmm. I love it! And I got the best parking spot! ... Of course, it is still raining, so it's not like getting the spot was hard. Anyway. I just wanted to remember this day. Its simple. Nothing grand. But still, it's good. I like it! (I just hope tonight is as good!)
