I was at work the other day, of course, and something semi-exciting happened. I thought it was interesting anyway. I was put down at the farthest registers where all the wood is purchased (It gets very boring down there). Anyway, I was filling out information on a check and I saw out of the corner of my eye, a man walk through the doors, heading out to the parking lot. I didn't think much of it until the alarms went off. I looked up then, in time to see him dash out of the store as quickly as possible. That got my attention.
Before I had time to figure out what was going on one of my co-workers came speeding to the door. She had seen him leave with one of our bigger name brand tools and he most certainly didn't pay for it. The cool part was when my co-worker, myself, and about half a dozen men (all customers who had witnessed the scene), came outside to see the guy drive away. All the men trailed toward the car shouting things like "Thief!" and "They'll get you!" It was pretty cool to see all the customers take a roll in this. The best part was when the "thief" looked back at us. He was in his big SUV and throwing his car out of reverse. He saw us. All eight of us watching him. The look on his face was sheer panic. We couldn't do anything but watch him squeal out of the parking lot. But it was enough to make my day a bit more eventful. Can you believe that people can be so thick?

Sweet! to bad he didn't get tackled before he got into the car. That would have been awesome. I hope someone called the police and got his license number. Oh hey, did you happen to get my bedroom set from Aunt Merrila? We need to see you sometime anyway. if you have a day off let me know and we can come see you guys, or you can head up here. Actually I could probably stop by on the 25 (saturday night) cause we'll be heading down to my in-laws house.
Anyhow...lemme know.
