Day 3. Favorite TV Show

I had several options for this one and none of them are very accurate considering I hardly watch any of them. Or at least, I don't keep up with them. But I figured that if ALL of them were on at the same time, which one would I watch? And so, I chose this one.

Day 2.

Day 1. Fifteen Facts About Me.

1. I LOVE learning and going to school. (Except for maybe this week. I don't like finals!)
2. I LOVE the music from Wicked. I've been driving my roommates bonkers because I ALWAYS listen to it!
3. Every Friday I spend an hour in the green house before my second class. It is SO relaxing.
4. I love listening to the electric guitar. (Especially live!)
5. I really miss being around kids!(!!!!!)
6. When I miss people, I dream about them.
7. My little sister and I are writing letters back and forth to each other and I LOVE it!
8. I am writing a rather large story. (And I'm excited to be able to work on it again!)
9. I just went on my first date in two years today.
10. Maybe it's because I have roommates again, but I've been picking up smells super fast, whereas at home, I didn't. Like. At all. (It usually wasn't until AFTER everyone in the car started saying "EWW!" that I would smell whatever it was... but anyways.)
11. I just wrote and published a book of poems for my family class.
12. I usually always have music playing, especially at work. But now that my favorite station is gone I have to settle for singing to myself for three hours every morning.. I really should just buy a CD player.
13. So.. don't judge me. But I now watch Grey's Anatomy.
14. I REALLY REALLY want to learn how to play piano.
15. I believe that Marsh-mellow Mateys helps you find a date! ;)

Red Riding Hood.

Well I deemed today a get-out-of-the-apartment-day. I feel like I've been stuck in this place for decades and I was ready to get out. So, with some persuasion on my part, a couple of my roommates and I went to the movies! (Do. Do. Doo! What better place to forget your problems than when you're too busy worrying about everybody elses'!) I WANTED to go and see the new movie Beastly, but the local theater wasn't showing it. (How lame is that??) So, we decided we'd go and check out this Red Riding Hood movie. I'd consider myself a somewhat fan of Amanda Seyfried and Twilight wasn't thaaat bad. Right?

The movie was directed by Catherine Hardwicke (the Twilight lady) and the movie had a lot of familiar actors in it. There was that one guy from Stargate -Michael Shanks aka Daniel Jackson. So that was pretty fun. They also recycled some of the people from Twilight, namely Charlie or Billy Burke. And then Serious Black, or well, Gary Oldman, was in the movie too. It was strange seeing him in the role that he was in. Well, it was rated PG-13 for obvious reasons. Lots of cutting off of things and mostly there was just too much lovin' going on. It was a good story, I loved the twist at the end, wholly unexpected. But the content was a little bit too ...not so good for my taste.

Prank.

So, this week for work I have to clean the west side classrooms and offices of my building. ..And I know that later in the day I have a roommate who has a class in one of those rooms. And it's the BIGGEST classroom in the building with roughly a hundred fifty seats. So, I decided I'd pull a prank. I wrote a note on one of the chalkboards (I was going to make it fill up one whole chalkboard, I mean, the teachers have seven more to write on, but I decided I'd only take up half of one). This is the note (And Jude stands for Jude Law -my roommate's "secret" crush):




And this is the conversation my roommate had with her professor (and she also took the picture)
Professor: Oh do you know that girl?
Roommate: ..That's me
Professor: Oh, ..he's a really nice guy.
Roommate: Haha. Yep.
Professor: Is he your fiancé?
Roommate: Nooo.
Professor: Do you want him to be your fiancé?
Roommate: No!
Professor: Oh. ..I've been there before.
And my roommate laughed and high-tailed it out of there!

Can You Say: Water Overload?

Today marks a very monumental day for me. Today is the eleventh time in my life that I've donated blood. (Hooray!) I literally drank liter after liter after liter of water ALL day today and (almost) ALL day yesterday. And, let me tell ya, the number of bathroom breaks that I've taken has gone WAY up! I went JUST before leaving to go donate. JUST before I checked in and I had to ask the guy in the middle of getting my paperwork filled out if I could go AGAIN! It was insane! And then, of course, I had to go RIGHT when I got home. Sheesh. Is this how you pregnant women felt?? Goodness, I feel like I practically LIVE in the bathroom!

And (not that this is going to make any sense to you, but) my hemoglobin was a little over 14. My Blood Flow was 8 out of 9 (which is SUPER good, especially for me!). Total time in the chair ...dun, dun, DUN a grand total of fifteen minutes. (AHH!) I was SO excited! I didn't feel light headed at all and except for the expected discomfort of a whole pint of blood draining out of your body and having to have your heart pump tons of extra blood, I felt great! I ate some pizza afterword, drank tons MORE water, flirted with like three guys at once (..okay, it wasn't REALLY flirting, it was more like just asking lots of questions. But, hey, when you're single what's the difference?) And the walk home was good too, I just really have to pee now... If you'll excuse me...

Letting Go.
